man...really...i'm sorry...

I could write so much right now,...but I'm crazily busy...probably just like everyone else.  I'm sorry I can't update right now.  I have tons of reading to do and papers and work and wedding plans and youth group preaching etc. etc.  But, God is so good.  I'm learning alot and seeing His Glory in it all.  By the by, if anyone has a chance...read "God's Passion for His Glory" by John Piper.  The last half of the book is an essay by Jonathan Edwards titled "The End for Which God Created the World"--that is, for the exhibition of His glory.  Man...read Edwards.  We need a Christian worldview like that...our present evangelical worldview is so entranced with secular thought and world-like thinking, it can hardly be labeled Christian.  Well...anyways...I honestly wish I had more time to write thoughts and things I have been learning from Hebrews and 1 Peter, namely.  Hope all is well with all...that is, I hope you all are drinking deeply from the satisfaction in Christ which alone will carry us through all things with confident hope.  Grace, mercy, peace, love, and truth to you all through our Lord, Scott M.

p.s. don't read the book i'm reading, it's for a class :)

well...what can i say...

It's over.  School that is...well...at least for a couple days, then I have 2 weeks of summer school.  But that won't be quite as bad since I'll be living at my sister's place, and it won't feel as much like school.  It's nice to be done, and yet...I'm not as excited as I thought I would be.  Probably because I'm tired or something.  But...it is nice to be done.

Katie, I really am sorry that you didn't know about my blog.  Umm...and as far as an email asking for pictures, I have no recollection of it.  I know you emailed me once, and then I replied yours and never received one back that I know of.  But, anywho...if you wanna see some pics, I'll start putting more up on "http://sdmohler.googlepages.com/afewpictures..."  So be sure to check that out.  There aren't that many up there now, but I'll do my best to get back in with my laws...in-laws.

Yes, I have heard Dr. Patz give that advice many a time, actually.  Ha...it still cracks me up.  Hmm...well...what else to say.  I really do appreciate everyone's advice on "how to be a good husband in 100 days", but now I have 87 left...and I don't think I've started working any of the advice yet.  Oh well, I still got time. j/k.  Well, I do...but...I have...well...it's like...I mean...I really have been...and I mean to...and I want...and...nevermind.  I've been maturing.  That counts.

Hmm...my dear April graduates in 3 days.  Crazy...she'll be graduating before me, and she started a year after me.  Kinda funny......she's such a good student.  I think it'll help me a lot to have her as my helper for schoolwork and such...she already helps me organize and keeps me accountable with schoolwork and stuff.  Hyep.  Well...I need to go eat...by myself now...because April left me...she's in Green Bay doing some things.  So, anyways...I'll update later.  Hope all is well.  Peace, love, mercy, truth to all.  Scott M.

p.s.  Cari, I'm staying at your place for summerschool.  :)  Just thought I'd remind you.

just to set it straight...

Thanks Dr. Robert Wagner.  Now I have to set the record straight and let everyone know that, the picture which seems to contain some blackmail material, is actually quite worthless evidence, seeing that this picture was taken during the summer--during the summer in which we have no rules against "shoulder bumping".  But hey, I appreciate your concern that we walk uprightly.  It does now seem, though, that Rob and Tiff have a confession to make to the Student Life office.  Oh well.  I trust you two will do the right thing.   j/k.  Well...hope that puts to rest any accusations directed my way, and any possibility of being "socialed."  Have a good day everyone.  Scott.

day: one hundred...one hundred left, that is...

yeah...100 days until I'll be married to Miss April Patz, if our God permits.  Any tips out there from anybodies?  Like...how to mature real fast and be a good husband in 100 days?  Anything like that?  Hmm...I have a feeling those are things you learn as you go.  Hyep.  Well...let me know of anything you all think I should know.  Time flies, by the way.  Feels like...a week ago that we were engaged to be married, but it has been 110 days!  Anyways...I'll write some stuffs later.  Life is busy here in the boonies.  Only 2 more weeks until...well...until I start another 2 weeks of summer school....and then 10 weeks of work and "pleasure" reading until that Day.  Love, peace, mercy, and truth.  Scott.

happy 21st birthday to the love of my life!!!

Actually,...it was on the 22nd, but I haven't been able to update since then.  So, I just wanted to post a pic of us from a while ago...to pay tribute to one whom God has greatly used in my life to help me to know Him more fully...may God cause you to drink more deeply of His pleasures in whatever time He gives you...
